Sadly, there is a claim deadline of 180days(six months) for the claim of the prize; which means that, after the deadline of 180 days, this funds will be forfeited and remitted to the UK. Government as unclaimed fund. There has been several cases like this were some winners failed to claim their lottery winnings, and the prize were forfeited and remitted to the UK overnment treasury.

The reasons why some winners fail to claim their prizes can be one or all of the below:

1. The winner may have accidentally throw away the tickets and lost track of the winning ticket number and other vital information as regards the lucky win.

2. Some winners do not check their tickets properly.

3.The winner may not be aware of the victory .

4.Due to alarming increase in internet lottery scam. Some winners becomes scpetical about the winning as to which Lottery is real or fake because several emails are being circulated by unscrupolous persons using the name of my company and other lottery bodies to deprive people of their hard earned money. But some winners fail to realise that the prize is real as you can
see in the BBC NEWS LINK above.

5. The National Lottery does not advice winners of their winning via email that is why some may not be aware that they won in the draws. So if you receive any email from anyone informing you that you have won a prize from the National lottery, such email is not real but fraud attempt to deprive you of your earnings.

However, I hereby seek your consent to cooperate with me so that I can provide you the winning information that won the prize funds of £8,497,985 to enable you apply for the claim of the funds. Once the funds is paid to you, Our mode of sharing will be on a 50……… 50 basis.
